Course Choice Future

As it is rightly said by Maya Angelou, ”you can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead, pursue the things you love doing. Do them so that people can’t take their eyes off you.” This quotation is appropriate universally for students who wish to choose the right course now to have a bright future.

You might not realise the importance of choosing the right course for yourself right now because you haven’t foreseen the future and neither has anyone on this planet. The question is then how do we make decisions? To answer this question correctly, we should ask our instinct. It is only ‘us’ who have the power to decide the right trajectory of our future. The choices matter to the extent that they affect our whole future- career and other major realms in life.

Taking a decision about the right course is based on the question- what do you want out of life. This is the key question. Your interests, abilities, potential and intelligence are imperative factors. It is never recommended for a person to take a path which they don’t wish to take or don’t have adequate interests and potential to pursue it.

Students after being misled take up some common course corrections taken by other people which are mostly driven by the field which is high on demand. Although this provides instant gratification, it ends up becoming a bad decision which is like a liability. A student, just by not taking the right course is most likely to regret it and so is likely to regret every phase that he/she passes through thereon, especially at the start of the career.

Take up something that you actually love. It will give you immense power and opportunities in the future to lead your life the way you want. You will have the decision-making power and the perks as well. Focussing on long-term satisfaction will surely fetch you a career of your choice if not better paychecks. But at least you would be happy.

All you have to do is realise the real potential that you possess and focus on what makes you happy even if it demands all of your time. It is important because all of your life depends upon it. It is like a ship sailing through a storm and you are the captain. Your life requires you to be responsible for navigating through, just like in the case of a storm. Choose the course wisely and choose what you want to do in life. You will definitely emerge as a winner to become an example of excellence.
